I missed out on posting quite alot so I'm updating you on what I have done....
Last week some people began using the potters wheel, I started mine on Thursday due to a small cut incase any irritation occurred while working on the wheel. Our tutor Elaine gave a demonstration showing us the step by step instructions that must be followed while working on the potters wheel. She then assisted us whilst making our bowls on the wheel. I must say it looked a hell lot easier than actually doing it. It takes so much skill and practise in making pottery on the wheel, however, practise makes perfect. I was pretty impressed to see how non-bandy mine had turned out !! Can't wait to eat my brekkie out of it hehe.
Elaine clearly stated not to put images up of her doing the potters wheel.... so instead here is my final piece.
Yup I'm so cool, now that's skill , And I chose this as one for my colour glazing. Here's a pic to show that too!
My influence for my girlie colours or should I say childish?? Well Vera Wang! Yes, there I said it, Vera Wang, I absolutely LOVE her perfumes I have two of em but they are just so eye catching and their so "Princessie" like moi !!
They smell soooooooooooooooooooooooooo good!!
My other glazed pieces which aren't so cool.... they aren't great, I only interpreted a small amount of markings in mine except for my weird whindy piece.
With these too pieces I done the "wash on-wash off" style to them just for a change to the full on colour!
